The Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Labour will be hosting a public forum featuring the three candidates running in the Windsor Lake By-election.
This forum will take place at the Holiday Inn, 180 Portugal Cove Road on Tuesday September 11th from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. (Salon D)
The forum will be moderated by NTV’s Michael Connors. All three candidates have confirmed. It will be open to the public and will allow voters to hear the positions of all three candidates on key issues facing the district and the province.
This is a great opportunity for union members and our allies to come hear what these candidates and their Parties feel about the issues that are important to the workers of NL.
We will also be live streaming and using social media at this event.
Please share and spread the word. I look forward to seeing you there. (Event posters attached)
In solidarity,
Mary Shortall,
President of the Newfoundland and Labrador Federation of Labour
