Local 1338 Reorganization

 As a result of a change in leadership, the ACRC is restructuring its PEI office to provide better value for Local 1338 members. Farrel Huculak is no longer employed as a business representative / organizer with the Council. Labour Day

Labour Day is a time to honour the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well being of our country.

Thanks to everyone who attended the rallies held in Saint John and Fredericton in support of the Energy East Pipeline! This is an important project for the province as it would provide opportunities at home for tradespeople in New Brunswick and stimulate growth in the local economy.

On Monday, August 8, 2016, hearings for the Energy East Pipeline will be held at the Saint John Trade and Convention Centre (1 Market Square, Saint John, NB).

The New Brunswick Building Trades is asking all Union members to attend to show their support for this much needed construction project. We ask that you arrive at 7 a.m. to ensure that supporters get in before the room is taken up by protesters of the project.

The hearings are open to the public, and family and friends are encouraged to attend. Let’s show the hearing committee and the government that this is an important project for the province.
